काठमाडौं, २० असार २०७४ । विश्वकप विजेता जर्मनी कन्फेडरेशन कप फुटबल प्रतियोगिताको उपाधि हात पार्न सफल भएको छ । जर्मनीले पहिलो पटक कन्फेडरेशन कपको उपाधि प्राप्त गरेको हो ।

रुसाको शेन्ट पिटर्सबर्गस्थित शेन्ट पिटर्सबर्ग रङ्गशालामा सोमबार राती सम्पन्न फाईनलमा जर्मनीले कोपा अमेरिका कप विजेता चिलीलाई १/० गोल अन्तरले पराजित गरेको थियो ।

खेलको पहिलो हाफमा जर्मनी टोलीमाथि निकै दबाब बनाएको चिलीले रक्षा पंक्तिमा गरेको गल्तीका कारण गोल खान पुगेको थियो ।

चिलीको गल्तीको फाईदा उठाउँदै जमर्नीका लार्स स्टीन्डलले खेलको २० औँ मिनेटमा गरेको गोल खेलको निर्णयक गोल बन्न पुग्यो ।

सोमबार दिउँसो तेश्रो स्थानको लागि भएको खेलमा पर्चुगलले मेक्सिकोलाई २/१ गोल अन्तरले पराजित गरेर पोर्चुगलले तेश्रो स्थान सुरक्षित गरेको छ ।
