स्थानीय समय अनुसार मङ्गलबार वेलुकी ९ः १५ बजेको समयमा गएको भूकम्पको प्रभाव खासगरी जिउझाइगाओ क्षेत्रमा परेको बताइएको छ ।
भूकम्पको केन्द्रबिन्दु ३३.२ डिग्री उत्तरी अक्षांश र १०३.२ डिग्री पूर्वी देशान्तरमा २० किलोमिटर गहिराइमा परेको सिइएनसीले जनाएको छ ।
