Chitwan, April 4th 2017 : Two persons lost their lives in a dry landslide that occurred at Kabilas of Narayangadh-Mugling road on Monday.
The District Police Office, Chitwan shared that Resham Raj Rana of about 45 years old was killed in the landslide. He was riding a motorcycle. The pillion rider, his 15-year old son Sandip has been injured, but out of danger.
Similarly another one killed in the landslide is Binay Kumar Koiri, 25, from Betiya of India. He was the driver help on tanker (Na 4 Kha 5419). The tanker was heading to Narayangadh from Mugling. His body was recovered while digging out to remove a buried tanker. Tanker driver Banu Patle, 36, from Parsad got minor injury.
A truck, a mini truck, and a car were removed from the landslide which occurred at 10:30 am on Monday.
The road blocked after the landslide came into operation at 4:3o pm, said Superintendent of Police, Dipak Thapa.
