Bhaktapur, March 16th 2017 : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has urged one and all, including the student unions, to help make the upcoming local level’s election a success.
Addressing the meeting of the ANNFSU (Revolutionary)’s office bearers at Sano Thimi on Thursday, PM Dahal reaffirmed the commitment of the incumbent government to hold the three-tier elections within the stipulated time.
Stating that elections were essential to implement the new constitution and institutionalize the achievements so far, the PM instructed the members of the student union to make the May 14 election a success, according to ANNFSU-R Spokesperon Surendra Basnet.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment towards constitution amendment, he also appealed to the agitating Madhesi Front to contest in the election rather than protesting the long overdue election.
