Kathmandu, Jan 30th 2017 : A fire broke out at Nayabasti of Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, on Sunday evening.
The fire was broken out at a local Gautam Store near Nabil Bank due to short-circuit.
Kalimati Circle of Nepal Police informed that no human casualty was reported in the fire, which was extinguished in one a half hours with the mobilization of police, locals and six fire-engines and four water tankers.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Police at Kalimati Circle, Sudip Pokhrel, added that investigation into the incident was underway to garner detail of the loss.
According to him, nearly a dozen stores were caught by the fire which began at 8:30 pm.
