Congo, December 6th, 2016 : Twenty-three people died in weekend clashes in Congo’s central Tshikapa region between police and local militia, the deputy governor of Kasai province said Monday.
Fighting from Friday to Sunday between police and troops and members of a local militia left “13 dead and 14 injured among security forces and killed 10 militia” fighters, Hubert Mbingho N’Vula said on state television.
