The silent period begins from Today midnight for the first round of local level election being held on May 14.<\/p>\n<p class=\"popPara\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Issuing a press release on Wednesday, the Election Commission, made aware the political parties that they were prohibited to make publicity for and against any party\/candidates in the silent period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"popPara\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe Spokesperson of the Election Commission, Surya Prasad Sharma, reminded that section 69 of the Local Level Election Directive 2073 prohibits the election campaigning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Kathmandu, May 11th 2017 : The political parties are asked not to make publicity of their election candidates once the silent period begins.
