{"id":15008,"date":"2018-10-10T06:55:53","date_gmt":"2018-10-10T01:10:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nepalmediaonline.com\/Nmedia\/?p=15008"},"modified":"2018-10-10T06:55:53","modified_gmt":"2018-10-10T01:10:53","slug":"9-killed-in-indian-steel-plant-explosion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/nepalmediaonline.com\/Nmedia\/archives\/15008","title":{"rendered":"9 killed in Indian steel plant explosion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">India, October 10th 2018: At least nine people have been killed and 14 others injured in a blast at a steel plant in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The blast occurred in a gas pipeline at the state-owned Steel Authority of India&#8217;s Bhilai Steel Plant in Bhilai town, some 30 km from state capital Raipur.<br \/>\n&#8220;At least nine people were burnt to death while 14 others received injuries and most of them were said to be in a serious condition,&#8221; Inspector General of Police G.P. Singh told the media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Local TV channels reported that police and rescue teams are still looking for survivors at the blast site.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A probe has been ordered into the blast, another official said. &#8220;It seemed to be an accidental blast, not any sabotage, prima facie. Anyway, we will wait for the probe report,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is not the first time that explosion has hit the Bhilai Steel Plant.
